Disease Mortality, U.S., 1900-1960 (Malaria and Erysepilas)


In these national data graphs, we observe the trend that disease mortality (i.e., the number of Americans dying from these diseases) declined from 1900-1960 even though there was no vaccine in usage by the public. That is because good engineering, sanitation, and the like reduced disease mortality across the population, even though pharma tries to take the credit.
